Lessons are educational, challenging and fun, and they meet our students where they are in the their riding ability.  Lessons begin with basic horse knowledge, basic care, and safety, and students will ride at the very first lesson! As the rider's confidence and talent increases, the intensity of the lessons increase.  Certain skills must be mastered for futher progression.
      'Horse Project' is available for young and adult riders, and students can enroll in the 'Horse Project' program at any time. This project allows students to progress through seven levels of information and riding skills.
     The levels have been set up to ensure safety for the horse and to build a strong foundation for riders who wish to further their riding skills. Advanced lessons focus on developing perfect balance between you and your horse.  This includes obtaining correct movement from the horse, pattern timing and show pen strategies.
     Lessons are taught by James and Jenny King, or by one of their assistants.  Lessons are available in western pleasure, hunt seat, horsemanship, equitation, showmanship, western riding, trail, hunter over fences and trail riding for pleasure.
      King Show Horses welcomes beginner and advanced riders ages 3 and up!
